DISCONNECTING IN WIN9X
HAVE WIN95/98 CD AVAILABLE IF REQUESTED DURING SETUP
One common problem is that the Network has to be configured under Windows 98.
Click on start, settings, control panel. Double click on the Network Icon.
Make sure that you DON'T have Microsoft Family Logon. If you do, click on it
once, then click on remove. Make sure that you DO have Client for Microsoft
Networks. If you don't, click on add, Client and then add. Select Microsoft
under Manufacturers. Make sure Client for Microsoft Networks is highlighted,
then click on OK. You should now have the following installed: Client For
Microsoft Networks, Dial-Up Adapter, and TCP/IP. If you have more, please ask
if you need them before you remove them. You may need them for other network
purposes.
