WHAT ARE ALIASES
A mail alias is a nickname for your mailbox. You cannot log onto the server
with a mail alias. It is NOT a separate account. You must request a mail alias
from FYI. When an alias is setup on the server, it will redirect mail sent to
your alias name to your main email account. Most email programs allow you to
sort messages based on the contents of a certain field (ie. To:, From:,
Subject:) into folders.
To retrieve mail as a separate account, request an E-mail Only account for
$5 per month. You will have a separate username/password for the account and
may log onto the server with this information. E-mail Only service requires
an existing Dialup connection.
