AOL INSTANT MESSENGER
The easiest way to contact someone on AOL would be through their e-mail.
This is great but there are times when e-mail just isn't fast enough. Because
of this, AOL has released their Instant Messanger program to the Internet at
large. This program allows you to communicate with AOL members by sending small
messages to them instantly. This program is available from AOL's Instant Messanger Site.
Another communication tool to access the outsite world is through
IRC. The IRC networks allow users to chat in realtime with friends from all
around the world. This requires a common IRC network or server
